Fender American Deluxe Stratocaster

Price: R.R.P. $2,599.00
Our special price: $2,099.00

The Fender American Deluxe Stratocaster is instantly comfortable with irresistible tone and playability. You won't believe your fingers and ears. The ultimate in high-performance, this premium Fender Strat model has an ultra-smooth, sweet neck with hand-rolled edges to make it play fast, smooth, and sweet. SCN (Samarium Cobalt Noiseless) pickups dish out vintage Strat sounds without the hum, while a hot bridge pickup provides extra punch and sustain. S-1 Switching delivers an extended range of tonal flavors. The classically contoured Stratocaster alder body fits like a glove. Other features include polished chrome hardware, locking machine heads, American Deluxe tremolo with polished steel saddles, highly detailed fret and nut work, abalone dot inlays, and aged plastic parts. Includes molded Fender Stratocaster hardshell case. Samarium Cobalt Noiseless pickups It's no secret that pickup designers have been striving to develop the ultimate noise-free single-coil replacement pickup. In pursuit of as little 60-cycle hum and extraneous noise as possible and the classic bell-like tones and fidelity of the original Fender designs, Fender has poured their energy into discovering a new world-class pickup for the ages. With open minds and a willingness to seemingly question everything, Fender partnered with legendary pickup designer Bill Lawrence. The pickup that was birthed from this extraordinary partnership is the Samarium Cobalt Noiseless pickup. It has no hum, no microphonics, close to zero magnetic interruption of the string path; and the widest sonic parameters possible--from Fender classic single coils to tones not yet imagined. Truly a revolutionary design in guitar pickups.

Gibson Custom Shop - 1958 "R8" Les Paul Standard VOS Faded Tobacco

Price: R.R.P. $5,899.00
Our special price: $4,699.00

New stock in store now! This is a pearler of a Les Paul and is one of the highlights of our Gibson range. Hand selected by Gibson Australia's 2IC from their latest shipment. Beautiful tobacco sunburst with a deep cherry back, and neck. Lovely light-medium weight and extremely resonant body. Great chunky neck, so those bends just ring out forever! Dream setup right out of the box - normally a sign of a stable guitar that is well acclimatised. Must see!

The 1958 Les Paul Reissue VOS (Vintage Original Spec) Electric Guitar from the Gibson Custom Shop has the great features, tone, and looks that made the original '58 Les Paul a classic, but with a plain top for "workhorse" comfort and feel. Features a maple top, mahogany back, and one-piece set-in mahogany neck with rounded '50s neck profile, nickel plated hardware, and an original ABR-1 tune-o-matic bridge.

The Gibson Burstbucker Pickups used are historically accurate "Patent Applied For" replicas with an airy tone and unbalanced coils. A medium output Burstbucker 1 is used in the neck position, while the Burstbucker 2 in the bridge position has a slightly hotter output. Both have unpolished magnets and non-potted coils like the original "Patent Applied For" pickups.

Like all VOS (Vintage Original Spec) Series instruments, the 1958 Les Paul Reissue Plain Top VOS is handcrafted for comfort and playability in the Gibson Custom Shop. The construction, neck profile, hardware, and electronics are period accurate, and a special nitrocellulose finish treatment gives it the patina of a gently aged vintage guitar. Includes Gibson Custom Shop case, a certificate of authenticity, and custom care kit.

Our special price: $2,999.00

Sold - please contact for availability. Lovely wide flames all over this one. Won't last long!

The Les Paul Traditional Electric Guitar got its name because Gibson gave it all the traditional features you expect from a Les Paul: mahogany body and set neck with rounded '50s profile, maple top, and a pair of Gibson's '57 Classic humbucker pickups. One significant, yet not-so-traditional improvement-the neck has been Plek'd on Gibson's Plek machine. The neck and frets are analyzed by a computer-controlled robot and then the frets are filed to an accuracy of a hundredth of a millimeter for optimal action and intonation without string buzzing. Includes deluxe Gibson USA hardcase. *Please note this guitar retails for less than the sunburst-finish Les Paul Traditional - due to the flame maple featured on the sunburst finish.

Epiphone Limited Edition ES-355 Electric

Price: R.R.P. $1,199.00
Our special price: $949.00

Introduced in 1958, the Gibson ES-355 was the deluxe version of the ES-335, boasting gold hardware, multi-ply body and neck binding, as well as an ebony fretboard with mother-of-pearl neck and headstock inlays. Like that original model, this Epi version also comes with a Bigsby tailpiece. It's powered by 2 Alnico Classic humbuckers with Alnico V magnets, patterned after the original Gibson '57 Classics. Premium features include a SlimTaper '60s D-profile neck, Grover 14:1 tuners, and LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge.

Epiphone brings back what many guitarists think of as the ultimate player’s axe, the ES-355. The ES-355 is one of the most iconic guitar designs in rock and Epiphone has brought it back in all its glory with the Limited Edition 355 in three beautiful finishes; Alpine White, Ebony, and classic Cherry.

The ES-355 Story: When it was first introduced in 1958, the ES-355 style was the world’s first thinline archtop semi-electric guitar, a bold new design that combined the cutting, bell-like sustain of a solid body with the darker, complex tones of an archtop. The ES-355 also incorporated the humbucker pickup, a relatively new design that would also be quickly embraced by both rock and blues players. Many think of the ES-355 as one of the best electrics ever made and it’s found in the collection of all discriminating guitarists including B.B. King, Keith Richards, Jorma Kaukonen, Chuck Berry, and Noel Gallagher. Now with the Ltd. ES-355 you can have one in your collection, too.

Groundbreaking Design: The Ltd. Edition ES-355’s unique tonal range was the result of its groundbreaking design. A wood block runs through the center of the body so the pickups are mounted much the same way as in a solid body guitar allowing for two hollow chambered areas over the violin style f -holes and in the double cutaway wings.

Classic Vintage Styling and Unique Features: The Ltd Edition ES-355 body is constructed of 5-layer laminated Maple and is available in three beautiful finishes: Alpine White, Ebony, and classic Cherry. The solid Mahogany 24.75” SlimTaper™ 1960s “D” profile neck features an Ebony fingerboard with a 12” radius and a 1.68” nut width. The neck has classic Mother-of-Pearl “Block” inlays and a vintage style Mother-of-Pearl “Split Diamond” headstock design. To top off the vintage styling, Epiphone included a “Tortoise” style pickguard with multi-binding. Tuning stability is assured with gold Grover™ 14:1 ratio machine heads, a gold Epiphone LockTone™ Tune-o-matic bridge and a gold Bigsby™ Tremolo. The volume and tone knobs, one for each pickup, are Black Speed™ with pointers for easy reference while on stage. Premium Electronics: No detail of the original ES-355 has been missed. The Ltd Edition ES-355 incorporates Alnico Classic™ humbuckers in the neck and bridge position. Patterned after the original Gibson '57 Classics, the Alnico Classic™ pickups use Alnico-V magnets with enamel wire to give you a tone that is warm and subtle with full, even response that will still give you that classic humbucker overdrive when you need it! The 3-way Epiphone Toggle/pickup selector switch is a deep, aged vintage yellow and is wired for the standard configuration with position one controlling the neck pickup’s volume and tone while position two controls the bridge pickup’s volume and tone.

Peace of Mind: As with every Epiphone, The Ltd. Edition ES-355 also comes with the peace of mind you get from a Limited Lifetime Warranty backed by Gibson Musical Instruments famous 24/7/265 day Customer Service. No guitar collection is complete without it. Check out an Epiphone Ltd. Edition ES-355 today!
