What an amazing piece! In totally original condition, this iconic guitar is finished in vintage sunburst and has aged beautifully over the years. This is the exact same model, colour and year as the two guitars bought by Beatles John Lennon and George Harrison in 1966 during the recording of the 'Revolver' album. John then had his guitar sanded down to a natural finish in 1968, and first used the guitar in this incarnation on the 'White Album' sessions. This is your chance to own the real thing - made in the original Gibson factory in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Featuring original 'dog ear' P-90 pickups, original hard case and original everything, this represents a great investment possibility - one that you can enjoy playing as well! This guitar was sold by us, and has since returned on consignment. The new owner had the original inlays replaced with period correct genuine mother of pearl, and replaced the original tuners with better functioning replacements (the original tuners are included in the sale). A real showpiece guitar!
