Beautiful original 1957 model Stratocaster. Vintage vibe? This guitar has it in spades! We rarely get the opportunity to see one of Leo's original creations, and it reminds is just what the buzz is all about. Completely original down to the last screw, this '57 is a collectors dream. Opening up the case reveals an understated piece of vintage guitar history - it's clean enough to fool an untrained eye into thinking it's merely used Stratocaster. Purchased from a reputable vintage guitar dealer in 2002, this '57 has sat in a glass display cabinet, untouched for the last 10 years. The neck is a soft and comfortable V, with a touch of '56 style roundness still left in it. The pickups have chime for days - plugged in this is a very articulate and clear sounding instrument. The frets are in fantastic shape - this guitar would still be at home with regular use on a stage or in a studio! Includes the original hardcase, original tremolo arm and original 'ashtray' bridge cover.
