Sold! - Fender 1964 Stratocaster L Series

Some of the most sought after guitars ever produced by Fender came from the period 1963-65 and are known as 'L Series' guitars due to their serial number prefix. If you're looking at this guitar, you probably already know this, so lets get to the juicy bits about it. The body is a fantastic light weight, with a black resprayed finish. All pickups, wiring and pots appear to be original, and a 5 way switch has replaced the original 3 way selector. It also features original Kluson machine heads, and there is plenty of meat left in the fingerboard and frets. The neck has a great feel, with hardly any dings and standard lacquer crazing. Original clay dot position markers are intact, and the neck stamp reads Aug 64. This guitar represents serious investment potential, and besides that, it's a dream to play!
