The ultimate Custom Shop collectors Strat? 1954-2004 Limited Edition Stratocaster Masterbuilt by acclaimed Fender Master Luthier Dennis Galuska. This is the real deal, purchased by an investor who did not play guitar. In 2004 these guitars were on sale for $8999 and only available by order until 31/12/2004.

The detail to which they went is staggering, with short skirt volume and tone knobs, very rounded neck edges, 'Pat. Pend.' bridge saddles, rounded edge Bakelite pickup covers and a serial number on the bridge spring cover plate and not on the neck plate.

From a construction point of view, these are some of the best guitars Fender has ever produced in our view and are testament to the high skill levels of the Masterbuilders at Fender's Custom Shop division. This particular guitar is perfectly balanced, and plays like a dream!

All of them were given the closet classic treatment and as such have lacquer cracking on the body to give an under the bed like appearance.
