Just in! Another beautiful Gibson Custom #1 'Pagey, with possibily the nicest flame top we have ever seen on one of these beauties! Stunning 3-dimensional top, great weight and tone for days. A few very minor pick scuffs from light playing, otherwise in A+ mint condition with the original Gibson Custom hardcase. It's amazing, what's more to say there?
At the heart of much of Page''s landmark work is his #1 Les Paul. The Custom Shop Jimmy Page signature model is based on exhaustive research on Jimmy's actual guitar (see video below), and faithfully recreates all the unique features of the original (including an elliptical neck profile and single push/pull pot for series parallel pickup switching) that make #1 the legendary instrument it is. The details are quite extraordinary, even down to the holes where Page had the original Gibson machine heads replaced for grovers! This was an extremely limited release by the Gibson Custom Shop, most of which have been snapped up by collectors worldwide.
Straight out of the box, from the look, feel, playability, sound (even smell!) you would never guess this is a re-issue of the original guitar. The ultimate Led Zeppelin and guitar players dream!
