Remember the 70's? An extremely popular modification was the installation of Dimarzio high-output humbuckers for a hotter Les Paul sound. Think Ace Frehley! (KISS). The cherry sunburst (rare) has aged to a gorgeous dull gloss, similar to the VOS finishes seen on the new Gibson Custom Shop reissue guitars. In a few years guitars like these will be highly desireable, even more so as a reminder of the era where guitar modification became popular for players wanting more tonal options. A great rock 'n roll Les Paul, with the original case.
