A great vintage example of a '59 Junior, in the classic 'cherry' finish! One owner since 1970 - This one features the great 'fat 50's' neck that has since become somewhat of a legend of Gibson's guitar history. With the fatter neck, larger frets, wrap-around tailpiece and single hot 'dog ear' P-90 pickup, these Junior positively scream! Nice resonant mahogany body that sounds great even when unplugged, with a great playing feel. This example has some wear (natural) on the body, and great crazed lacquer that is a feature of all Gibsons from this era. These Juniors have a strong cult following due to their great playability, hot tone and colourful history. The tuners and pots have been replaced with non-original (albeit better functioning) parts, and includes a non-original (but vintage) case.
