This bass is in amazing condition! It has hardly been played since it was purchased in 1974. The natural finish is in mint condition, over the ash body which is very well weighted. The maple neck plays perfectly and has a real beefy 70's p-bass feel to it. Both covers are original and look brand new as does the rest of the chrome work on the instrument. 1974 was the first year fender relocated the thumb rest to the top of the scratch plate which has never been removed. All the extra bits and pieces are with it too, including the mint condition case which looks to have never left the house, the factory original fender strap which came new with the bass as well as warranty card, sale card, and display cards. This particular bass is one of the best examples of a '74 you will ever find it is a fantastic investment as well as a great playing instrument! call or e-mail us for a price!!
