Yamaha's SG2000 is the company's longest-running electric guitar. Originally developed with Carlos Santana in the 1970s, the Yamaha SG2000 was built to be the ultimate electric guitar with through-neck construction, coil-tappable humbuckers and sustain-maximising features like a solid brass block under the stop-tailpiece bridge. Since Carlos Santana played the SG2000 for several years (appearing with one on the June '78 cover of Guitar Player magazine, as well as extensive touring use!), you know that there is something special about this guitar. Even though he is now a PRS endorsee, Santana still gives high praise to the SG2000. Thus, the SG2000 is one of the most collectible and valuable Yamaha guitars in the used market today, and there is plenty of good reason for that. Long story short, the SG2000 was one of the best guitars available in the late seventies and early eighties, and it could possibly be the best Japanese guitar of the time. This exampe is in gorgeous condition. 100% original and untouched, showing no signs whatsoever of playing wear with all original parts - this one is truly something special and the first serious player to pick this up will buy it!!!
